Skill Level (6/10):

This pattern is considered intermediate to advanced. The bulk of this pattern is relatively easy and straight forward, however the use of more advanced skills such as thread sculpting make it more complicated to complete. We recommend that you have a proficient understanding of basic stuffed animal making before attempting this pattern.

If you are a beginner and want to attempt this pattern, it is still doable. We just recommend that you take it slow and hand sew instead of sewing on a machine.

21 in (53.34 cm) long (including tail)

Material Information:

The material used on the example moles is minky with machine applique detailing. We highly recommend using minky. It yields professional looking results, is very
durable, soft, and has a nice subtle sheen. It stretches in one direction which works well with the nap direction included in this pattern. Be aware that using other types of fabric will cause the final product to stretch differently when stuffed which could cause deformation. If you are worried about your chosen fabric’s stretch, you can apply a feather weight or sheer weight fusible interfacing to the back.

Other materials that you can use include anti-pill fleece, velour, faux suede, ect.

Embroidery and Applique:
